In your complimentary 15 minute consultation, we will review fees with you over the phone based on the primary therapist assigned and services requested.

Yes, you are welcome to a complimentary 15-minute consultation. This session gives us an opportunity to meet, discuss your needs, and determine if we are a good fit. You can ask any questions, and I can learn more about your situation to see if my skills align with your goals. Once we identify the necessary steps for treatment, we will discuss the fees involved.

We are out-of-network providers for all insurance companies. If your plan includes out-of-network coverage, your insurance may cover part of the treatment cost. You may obtain this information from your insurance provider. Payments for services are made by you. You may request a superbill to submit to your insurance company. If your plan covers the services, your insurance company will reimburse you directly for the portion they cover per session.

The duration of therapy depends on your individual needs. While therapy often begins with a specific goal in mind, the process may evolve as new insights or challenges arise, potentially shifting the focus. You are in control of your treatment goals, and I collaborate with you to achieve them. Short-term therapy typically ranges from 5 to 7 months, though treatment can extend beyond this depending on the complexity of the issues and your personal preferences.
We regularly review your goals throughout the treatment to ensure our focus remains aligned with your needs and that progress is being made. As you achieve your goals, there are opportunities to set new ones and gradually reduce the frequency of sessions. My ultimate aim is to equip you with the skills and insights needed to maintain your progress with minimal or no ongoing therapeutic support.

Every individual’s experience with therapy is unique. Our work together will be centered on your specific goals. Through self-reflection and the recognition of behavioral patterns, many people gain valuable insights that enable them to change their thoughts, actions, and reactions. This process can help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, manage emotions and stress more effectively, and enhance your communication skills.

Most services are provided virtually on Doxy, a HIPAA-compliant, secure video platform. Retreats and workshop services are offered in person.

Teletherapy is a video-based platform accessible from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. It utilizes telecommunication technology to deliver professional and confidential therapeutic services remotely, providing convenience for clients.

Teletherapy offers a secure, virtual environment where clients can engage in therapy through a screen. We use the HIPAA-compliant platform Doxy.me, which ensures that your privacy is protected and sessions remain confidential.

Benefits of Teletherapy:

  • Flexible and convenient, making it easier to maintain consistent session attendance. Most people report a highly effective therapeutic experience.
  • Allows you to attend sessions from any location where you can ensure privacy, such as your home, office, or parked car.
  • Ideal for parents who would otherwise need to arrange childcare for in-office sessions.
  • Enables therapy for two individuals in different locations, such as long-distance relationships or workplaces far from home.
  • Eliminates commute time to appointments.
