Meet the RISE Life Solutions Clinicians

The right therapeutic fit matters. At RISE Life Solutions, our clinicians bring different backgrounds, lived experiences, specialties, and therapeutic approaches, while sharing one common commitment: offering care that is compassionate, clinically grounded, and deeply respectful of the person in front of them. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your relationship, or your family, we want you to feel met with warmth, clarity, and care.

Soraya Carr

Soraya Carr is a Haitian American therapist who works with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, and minority stress. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused work.

Soraya partners with clients to identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck and to build practical tools that support resilience, emotional regulation, and lasting change. She believes that while life experiences shape us, they do not have to define our future. Therapy can be a powerful space to reconnect with your strengths, reclaim your voice, and move toward a more authentic and empowered version of yourself.

She values inclusivity, cultural humility, and creating a space where clients feel seen, respected, and safe enough to explore both the challenges they face and the growth they are seeking.

Kristin Whiting-Davis, LCSW-C, LICSW, LCSW, CMIP

Kristin Whiting-Davis is a licensed clinician with more than 25 years of experience working alongside individuals, executives, couples, and families in settings ranging from child welfare and schools to hospitals and outpatient mental health.

She works especially well with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, and major life transitions, as well as couples and families who want to communicate more effectively, manage conflict, and change patterns that keep them feeling stuck. Her approach draws from CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based strategies, always shaped around what fits the client rather than forcing the client to fit a formula.

Kristin’s style is warm, honest, and collaborative. Clients often experience her as easy to talk to, grounded, and able to create the kind of safety that allows meaningful work to happen. She believes therapy is where people can slow down, make sense of what is happening, reconnect with what matters, and find a way forward that feels true to who they are.
